My name is Daniel Price and I am the 6th and 7th grade Humanities teacher as well as 6th grade advisor. I completed my BA in History from the University of Rochester, with a focus on Global Studies and Environmental Science. I began my teaching career in the remote Marshall Islands and have lived and worked in Indigenous communities in Ghana, India, The Marshalls, Guyana, Hawaii, and now Denver. All in all, I lived and worked abroad for 6.5 years and have 10 years of classroom teaching experience, mainly K-5, ESL/ELL, HS, Organic farming, and Adult education. I am passionate about sustainable agriculture and local food (I have my own urban farm where I grow over 100 varieties of vegetables and fruits), history, geopolitics, travel, cooking, and all things food! I am determined to help our students succeed while cultivating a positive identity around their culture, language, and history.
